2010 NWAHJA Policy:
Barn Days will be set at the March 2010 board meeting. NWAHJA members who would like to qualify or receive an award at the year-end banquet will be responsible for attaining at least 4 hours (except for Education Equitation eligible riders). However, each barn owner/trainer must have a volunteer delegate to manage their barn days to ensure all items are completed.
The barn volunteer delegate will report all working members and their hours to the NWAHJA volunteer coordinator who is responsible for maintaining a list of members who have completed their minimal amount of hours.
As NWAHJA board, we encourage members to fulfill more than their minimal hours in order to further develop teamwork, sportsmanship, and philanthropy. As a token of gratitude all members who have completed more than 4 hours will be given special recognition at the year-end banquet. In addition, the member with the most accumulated volunteer hours will be given a special volunteer award.
